Set Up Sana-Chan In Your Discord

Invite Sana-Chan Bot

  1. Invite the bot with bot and applications.commands scopes.
  2. In Discord, run /sana and choose Setup.
  3. Run /repairpermissions if any channel is missing bot access.
  4. Run /setuptest to confirm the database, folders, channels, and slash commands are healthy.
  5. Use /submit category for submissions and /startgame / /guess for guessing games.

Recommended Channels

  1. Submit channel: where users start /submit.
  2. Category channels: where approved submissions are reposted.
  3. Approval channel: optional queue for admin review.
  4. Game summary channel: optional place for daily/monthly guessing results.
  5. Error channel: private admin channel for bot alerts.

Admin Commands

The Discord setup wizard writes the same config as the dashboard. If a server is already configured elsewhere, an owner can also export/import that server config from the dashboard Settings page.
